The world is a vast and hungry place
Fear
It’s so easy to get lost, be forgotten
No breath
So many casualties, self inflicted victims
Gasp
This isn’t right, I was to be great, to succeed
Jump
A dead end on a no name street. What happened?
Fall
I had dreams, how could it end up so wrong?
End

This is a very interesting poem... I don't really understand the meaning of it though.
Anyway, I can say that everyone has dreams, and not everyone's dreams come true.
The world is indeed a vast and hungry place, and we have to work hard to find our place in it.
This is a good poem. Keep on writing! |
