The Life She'll Never Have

Contributed by MG_Akela22090 on Saturday, 24th June 2006 @ 07:50:03 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

She walks in like she owns it.
Flips her hair back and takes a drag.
Watches her man smoke in the corner.
She feeds off the life she wishes she had.
She acts so dangerous,
Playing this game
But inside she’s screaming
Always screaming…

Always screaming,
Oh, baby!
As he touches her…
Kissing her with the smoke and the alcohol.
Tying ropes around her,
She wants this life so bad…
The one she doesn’t have.

She wants to live dangerously.
She wants to make them beg
And to be beautiful
Dark
And sexy like those vampires.
She wants to feel it all because she feels nothing right now.

Inhibitions are lost
As she begs him to take her…
Just to take her to some other place in her mind
She wants him to make emotion die,
All she wants to feel is him on the inside.
She wants to make the life
She’ll never have.

She rips holes into her wrists just to see the color.
Just to know she feels something more than this…
She wants to take the gun in his hand,
Pull the trigger,
And hope to never wake up again.
Because all she wants is the life she’ll never have.

She wants to live dangerously
She wants to be loved
She wants it all,
She thinks,
As she takes a drag.
