Warrior Girl

She steps onto the shore
Barefoot, with water soaking into her bones
Dark violet eyes, golden-orange hair
Upon a joyless face
The sky is bright
Not darkened by the troubles of man
The clouds flit by unnoticing of the ground
She has a weapon in her hand
A weapon to save humanity
Or to die trying
Fierce warrior girl
So young, so pretty
Called to save a world
Without support or appreciation
To save the world from things
Caused by the people she is saving
Will she survive?
Will she die?
Is there any difference?

Very nicely written, I could picture the complete seen. I would like to hear more of this warrior girl, maybe battle or her victory. |
