Lending you a hand
So you can see the help, thats not even bad
Your face it says its against your will
As I watch you die, throwing the help all aside
Your words you say, your life so bad
"Oh me oh my, you'de wish this was a fad"
Is this some game you like to play with others
Slap the hand.. you want it all bad
The sidelines grew a new found home
The sun shining bright, never scraping to the bone
Your nickles, your dimes, gone to a drink
Your long lasting hope... sucked dry to your brink
Is it now you know your time's comming near
If you drink and drink, the church bells we'll soon hear
From the one who loves you, lending you a hand
Please quit slapping it.. thinking its all bad

I never drink alcohol. I think it's a drug that kills all creativity... and in the end not just that.
Nice write!

So very sad, it seems like the people watching this event take place, sadly are dying also, in a completely different way.
