I regret the day we met
I fell in love that day
I gave my self to you
But neither of us knew

I ran my heart away
But kept you near
Watched you live and love
Live and love not I

You grow and see the world
I grow and only see you
I watch her and you
Dreaming I were her

My thoughts betray me
As I see you now on bended knee
Grasping her hand
Regret floods me

This day I stand still by you
You smile she is dressed in white
Beautiful you whisper
I dream it was I

Another lover banished
I sent him away
I cry for you, on your shoulder
Yet you think it is for him

I live my life alone
Lost for my unrequited love
I regret the day we met
the day I fell in love
