I've crumbled
Your weight has crushed me
Inside the heart,
a shattered love.
Outside the heart is rusty.
I've betrayed myself
I've built these walls around me.
I've sewn my mouth
and shunned the world
so u could sleep more soundly.

I've given up the life I knew
to avoid the filth and waste.
Hold your breathe,
'til you reach death,
and fear what you cant face.

You walk thru time
and leave your mark,
a handprint on my skin.
Love turned to lies,
smiles turned to cries,
and innocence turned to sin.

This constant aching in my head
reminds me there's no end.
No longer trusted, liked, or wanted,
Your your only friend.
A vicious cycle
Again and
again.
