Molly's Sonnet #1
Gazing into your sparkling eyes, my dear
I can’t believe the haste which time has past
Naked and screaming, your arrival here
My life and yours before my own eyes flashed
Foul smells, crying, so many sleepless nights
Unable to move, deficient in size
Somehow still able to put up a fight
How could it be, you control both our lives
Despite all the strife and troublesome days
We’re thankful for you, god’s sweet, wondrous prize
You’re touching our hearts in so many ways
Innocence and beauty filling our eyes
When in the future you read this refrain
Always remember our love will remain
