the fade

the things that used to seem so clear
some how they start to fade
I wonder is my heart growing hard?
but then is that your fault for causing all the pain?

we once said never stop loving me
but the picture of our love
becomes old and faint
I-I cant tell whats going on anymore

can I look at you and smile
and pretend I know whats wrong in me
is it me, or is it you
that makes me feel the way I do?

its almost like we've faded apart
are you the same kid I knew?
because it seemes you've changed
or is it me thats seemed to fade?

you did a great job on this piece
