Bunnies in the Springtime

Contributed by MG_Akela22090 on Wednesday, 21st June 2006 @ 02:10:37 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Sitting here staring into oblivion, thinking about everything and everyone and I can’t remember how I got here. Always fighting and screaming and pleading. Always bleeding on the inside. I cut out my heart because the pain was too much.
Sorrow is my meaning. Everyone is leaving and I’m left here to watch it all go away. To watch it all disappear.
Bleeding from my eyes, because I poked them out with needles. I don’t want to see this anymore. Ropes around my neck, because I’m sick of breathing….I’m sick of being anything, because I’m not me anymore.
Controlled and broken. Dead on the inside. Told it’s not worth-it. I’m a cheater and a liar. I can’t be trusted and my opinions never mattered.
I can’t run, I can’t hide. I can’t find a place to stay because I’m bound to this place. I’m bound to a love I’ve needed for so long.
Ravens everywhere talking to me…telling me to get out, to run for my life. Dreaming of some other place, because I just can’t be here anymore.
I just can’t remember how I got here….I’m tired of bleeding on the inside….I’m tired of living such a meaningless life.

You must let go of everything, the harder we try to break the cycle, the deeper we get. Trust in the Lord and he will raise you up on angel's wings.
