My Man
He is always there when I need Him
It is He, which I owe my life;
He always stands out from the rest of them
It is He who guides me through life’s strife.
This man took cancer from me
He was with me when I first left home;
This man is enabling me to receive my degree
Since birth He has never left me alone.
Without a doubt He is the only man I will ever truly love,
It is He who makes me understand my suffering;
His love is a love that I have found to be as pure as a dove
And no my Man did not give me a ring;
My Man said the ring does not show my love, so He died on the cross;
My man is a man that I will never forget and without Him all is lost.
