What You Don't See

Contributed by caughtinadream on Tuesday, 20th June 2006 @ 09:59:49 PM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

Physically tired, emotionally stressed
My energy has been drained,
but I'm sure you haven't guessed
That my heart is made of stone,
I learned my lesson fast.
Paranoia to the fullest
the kind that won't relax.
How are you? I'm fine,
Thanks so much for asking.
Why dont you take the time to uncover
these silly lies I'm masking.
It might just be too late,
but you see I have been trying.
It might just be too late,
for you see I'm slowly dying.

Rumor has it we all start dying from our very first breath.

Welcome back, I hope you decide to submit more on a more frequent basis. As this is an older write, I do hope the feelings behind it have passed.

Nazzy ~

shows a very lonely individual trying to reach out, you might take that first step, a lot of life outside of dreams, find a real dream while awake, reality. no need to hide behind a mask, never too late, if your going to die, may as well get unfinished business done first, then won't have any regrets. I like this poem very much
