Moods

Contributed by jerseysue on Tuesday, 20th June 2006 @ 02:29:06 AM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

Black Moods

Encased inside a dark pit of obscurity,
Hands tied , eyes wide, looking at hell,
Dark creatures haunt your very soul,
Black moods in your mind do dwell,

No friends no home, left alone,
Inside a cage of barbed wire,
Goodness gone, hatred lives on,
Devoid of any known desire.

White Moods

Happiness and laughter rule here,
Everything bright, so full of cheer,
Love abounds in everything you do,
No reason to doubt, happy are you,

Clear blue skies, morning dew,
Leafy lanes and forests too,
Green fields around , fresh and new,
A feeling of contentment for you.

My Mood

I am glad that I was born,
Every day when I awake at dawn,
For I have been blessed with many things,
And all the love that happiness brings,

The friends I have made within my life,
Counteract the feelings of any strife,
So sometimes I have fallen along the way,
But I have always fought back another day,

So I am strong, but sensitive too,
And consider the needs of others too,
I strive to be a good person you see,
And I will always be happy, because I'm me.

Seems like a white mood 'n' "my mood" would go together quite well ... and probably do. Great write, sue.

"Black Moods" vs. "White Moods" provides a good contrast between the two. "My Mood" is a nice reconcilliation of the two with a concentration on the positive. Very interesting three part piece here. I like it a lot.

Sue~

"white Moods" & "My Mood" go together hand in hand for u. A very well penned piece of poetry filled with postive thoughts.

So I am strong, but sensitive too,
And consider the needs of others too,
I strive to be a good person you see,
And I will always be happy, because I'm me.

These words sum up who u are and to me u are a beautiful, kind and caring poetess. Thanks so much for sharing this uplifting write with us Sue~

warm hugs,
