Hear my cries hear my screams
I can only hold you in my dreams
I stand on the rooftop of the world
looking up into the stars
seeing my whole life, from start to end
Seeing the end is now
I look down at the world below
At the edge I take a step
only to find me falling
into an infinite abyss of hatred, fear, confusion
I scream, I cry in pain
You still don’t hear me yelling in vain
and you’ll never know,
What could have been
And you’ll never see,
What might have been

| I like this poem very much. The Rooftop of the world is soooo poetic! Mind you, if you're lucky enough to climb to the rooftop of the world have a good look and see that the world is full of wonder and love and you don't need to cry anymore. |
