Do you wish that I could end,
My wanting to become your man?
Do you wish that I would leave?
Just be your friend, try not to cleave?
Do you regret the night we met?
The love that still grows for you yet?
Do you wish I’d go away,
And grow more weary of me each day?
Do you think that I should stop,
Calling on the phone, to talk a lot?
And if I go, what will you do,
When you realize, I’m still loving you?
When you get lonely and feeling blue,
Will you then think I’m that way too?
If you say go, I will not stay.
I’d be in Hell by the end of the day.
