You are the sun in my sky
You are the star that shines bright at night
You are the angel that appeared one day
You are my heart and soul.
You are the rainbow after the rain.
You are the medicine that cured my pain.
You are the wind that whispears in my ear
Your voice is the lullaby that puts me to sleep,
Your laughter makes me complete.
Your eyes make me dream.
Your smile brings me hope
You are my only friend
You are the love of my life.
You are the only one I can talk to,
when things are not right.
You are the only thing I need to stay strong,
because I know that with you nothing can go wrong.

Aww, this is lovely, Emy is right.
I keep saying that I love simple poetry, and it's true, I do. I think that often, the more important things don't need huge words and embelishments, because the important things tell themselves.
I like this one a lot. I have always been a bit odd about poems that use the same word at the start of each sentence, but this one was done well, thought I liked it more as it changed toward the end.
