Lazy summer days, lounging by the pool,
Doing anything we can just to keep cool.
Walking with friends all through the town,
From the sun-up to the sundown.
Watching sunsets, laying out on the beach,
Into that someone's hand I do reach.
Breathe in the wonder and awe,
No emotion should you withdraw.
Take in the waves and smell the salt,
Bring all that comes to a complete halt.
Sleep in late, wake up to the sun,
Knowing your day has only just begun...

Ditto the first comment. The languid heat just rises off the words. Ah, Summer.

Living in Florida you might think I would be innured to the wiles of your piece yet it is evocative as I pick up shells and even cups to listen for the sea. Lucid, concise and a bit skeletal like Ravel's "Bolero" which is excellent but I would love if you fleshed it out I guess it leaves me wanting more of that day.
Peace
