Emy Comes To The Rescue

Contributed by secretwind on Saturday, 17th June 2006 @ 05:31:28 AM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

I look out the window
thinking in silence of many things
things like
should I stay or should i go,
we walk we talk we breathe
we dance and sing
we all have dreams
but what we need
no one ever really knows.

This world moves so fast
whenever I pause
to comptemplate
the chaos takes control
and I get spun round and round,
I walk In a straight line
as mixed emotions
cut me deep inside
the sun is shinning bright
but I am down.

It's so hard to breathe
I self analyze myself
and I don't like
what I am seeing
but I know
when I need something to believe
I see a star shinning
and I can feel
there is a reason for living
and I flow
like a warm breeze
and I know I been saved again
emy comes to the rescue.

Nicely written.
unique in its own ways
and yet the same
things inside me
are written down
by you.

Friendship and love are simply gaining strength and giving strength to each other. I think (there I go thinking again) "like a warm breeze" some strength was given and gained in this poem. Good work.

To have a dear friend that will truly LISTEN when you need a LISTENER to be near, is so like Emy!
She's a bright star to all need!
Beautifully written thoughts about friendship without greed!
Warm love
