I am sorry

Topic: self-harmpoetry

What I find
As I sit here in nothingness
My mind turning on me
I sit here and cry
Repeating my anguish
My remorse and sorrow
Kill me now
I dare not curse you any longer
My existance is murderous
I take upon my self
Your blade
Against my skin
Pale and white
Scared now and red
Take a picture of my blood
As it pours into the sink
I stare at the thing before me
Red eyes puffy face
I am nothing
I hurt
I hurt you
Unbeknownst to you I now bleed
I bleed to repent
My disrespect I withdraw
I never meant it
I repeat over and over
As I bleed as I cry
I never meant it
I am sorry

What a sad and self-destructive write.
But from all of this, how wonderful that you can say you are sorry. That in it's self means you have much character..........I hope things are better now.
Good poem!
Warm love,
consue

I am Sorry

My dearest daughter I your dad
I have done some things to make you sad
Words spoken but never true
These are words I now rue

I now your pain I saw your face
On a pedestal in the human race
I put you there I love you so
What I did now I know

More than just words in our fight
And yes I cried that same night
Please know this you give me light
That I take to sleep every night

Even dads must learn their trade
And yes, in my life I am still unmade
I seek like you my path my life
And at times it ends in strife

Take in your heart and remain pure
And know with life never be sure
For this the test we all endure
As we search for the cure.

You had me crying.
I know how you feel.
I tried to drown myself
Hope every thing is ok between you and your father now.
