The Hunger I Can Not Quench

Contributed by Whisper on Saturday, 17th June 2006 @ 05:06:44 AM in AEST
Topic: selfstruggles

Its a weakness with a
Hunger I have yet to control
The Reasoning is so crystal clear
though at times
I try to sheild
them away
from me

I want it more.
A quick fix is what
I need
The answers are not clear
but the spirit within is calling
tormenting me
Go on.

In the addicting smoke I
Feel
and Come alive again.
Even if for just
a while
The peace of mind I gain
is still so paper thin.

Quests and and pressures crowd me
And I fall weak
and want to die
But for some unknown reason
as I begin to fly
I imgine
I collect
Wisdom
Gathering
strength along the way.

With still a few bumps and bruises
I have the will to carry on
try to correct
and set right
what wrong has been done
Alone

I"II face the great unknown
with
Faith in tomorrow
and fresh beginnings
of each new days morning
Making it intriguing to get up
each day.
and ponder
and think
what new events
will happen
today.

Whisper
