I surely ain’t a God send
I’ve had my share of sins
My poetic rhyme is simple
Here’s how my story begins
From the first I ever met you
Through your down days of sorrow
I took a journey into your life
In hope of a probable tomorrow
Affairs of the heart left you broken
Life has dealt you a cruel hand
You write to heal your wounded heart
Of pain you can no longer withstand
Each passing day I think of you
Wondering if you're doing well
Been seven seas away from you
I’m afraid that only time will tell
If I could have just one wish
If my wishes would come true
I’d wish you a lifetime of love
To help take away your blues
So dear God if you can hear me
Here’s a plea from me to you
All I ask is for you to help Billy
For he’s a special friend who’s true.

Awww, Sue, do you know how much of a sweetheart you are?
You are just adorable.
This is a lovely poem, I sure hope Billy appreciates having such a wonderful friend.
I think you have a wonderful way of saying things in a simple honest way. I love that.
As usual, this poem does not disappoint.

Um........left speechless........Just in awe,and how one could wish such a sweet thing for a special person. I DO,,,,,hope he find what he needs, and wants,! Seems it could be right in fornt of him, if he will just 'open" the eyes,and see. BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!

The are many qualities to this masterful write, among them, understanding, loyalty, patience, just to name a few. They're the quality of angels. Earth angels. Sue, I had a few and this writing and Billy's response tells me we're reading correspondence in rhyme between a couple Earth angels. And yer both couple o' the finest poets on this here YPDC. My AWE!

Aww! you are a true friend! You and Billy are obviously very tight friends, he may be faraway, but hes close to your heart. So sweet! I hope your wish comes true for his sake!
