I remember You

Contributed by BRONZEN on Friday, 16th June 2006 @ 02:49:44 PM in AEST
Topic: LoveRemembered

Im sitting her anxiously writing you this letter
My words will be expressed so much better

Life took its toll on me and I had to go away
Now that Im doing fine Im piecing my life back
together day by day

Numerous times you came to visit me I tried to
keep my absence of mind on the down low
Pretending that I knew who you were but that
hopeful face I didnt know

My letter to you now can help you define how my
conscious overwhelmed me into failing
I was good at everything ever was I soaring
but then I met you I couldn't sustain inside I was
wailing

Your constant visits helped me a lot they slowly
brought back memories
I am fully recovered I can prove it in thie letter its
seems Ive been away for centuries

I have full recollection of the day we met it was a
feeling of a day when the earth stood still
I remember your up and around my way you helped
me carry my bags up that steep hill

You said I seemed kind of shy I just blushed and
smiled away
Little did you know you captured every beat of my
heart on that very day

I was baffled within when you said to me let's get on
on the floor
Not knowing what you meant you explained dancing
sweetheart just a little slang as a detour

I remember you saying you had crazy love for me
Just out of nowhere you uttered those words and I
felt inside I was no longer free

It must have been love you wept when I was on my
disturbed mission
You are the craftsman who brought my reality back into
existence

I remembered every detail of that day we met
It stayed deep down in my soul stored and sacredly
kept

My letter has come to an end my love Im hoping our
hearts can again collide
Remember me as I remember you please dont kiss
your love good-bye

Beautiful. I have a fond memory of Joey, the wonderful little teenage girl who told me what the word christian meant.. I never knew.. I knew God, but I did not know that word. I owe it all to Joey... I hope and pray she remembers who I am, I have never found her again since school days. You again inspired me Bronzen... I found a little piece of me in your poem.

Hugs,

RaquelLeah
