Tormented by her memories,
Manipulated by her mind.
She woke up screaming-
Searching for a comforting hand,
But there was none.
She woke up screaming-
A nightmare still lingers,
No release from her demons.
She woke up screaming-
Tormented by her mind,
...And there was the hand.

| This is a right on one of those nights where I toss and turn with nightmares. I always do it for no reason. My mom and I were always mentally connected. So when I lived with her, I would find her watching over me. It was a comfort. |
