Now I Know

I know I can make it on my own,
I know I have the strength.
Whatever fruits my labours have sewn,
I know I can last the length.
It's true I've faltered in the past,
I've landed in the dirt.
I've fallen hard and fallen fast,
And yes I have been hurt.
I picked myself up off the ground,
Gave life another go.
I managed to turn my life around,
The experience helped me grow.
Now I know I have the stuff,
To make it through this life.
No matter if sometimes get rough,
I'll make it through the strife.
I know I can make it on my own,
I know I have the strength.
Whatever fruits my labours have sewn,
I know I can last the length.

It's wonderful to see such a positive poem, proof that though things can be hard, it's possible to work though them and to get something good out of the troubles.
I like how you repeated the first stanza. That's very effective and end the poem well.
