Like I never needed anyone before
I’ll get it right out
Let you settle the score
Wait till you’re ready
To leave me like the rest
Tell me we don’t belong together
That this is what’s best
So I care for you..
Like I never knew I could
I try to keep it hidden
The way I thought I should
But you stare...
And it goes right through me
To something on the other side
Something I try to be
So I love you..
Like I’ll never know love again
I am falling so fast
And I fear the pain
That so often finds
A home in my heart
I wonder will you stay
Or break me apart
