For This I Simmer

think I was stuck in a pot of
Mud,
On the other hand, was it red clay?
How I got there, I do not know
I beg and beg for someone to
Remove me from this hot
Desolate place..
My brother just said cat, you
Need a bit more sun
Than you, be all right!
I promise you will,
Just simmer, bake a few more
Minutes..
I asked one question,
Was this all about that old
Bad tasting diet coke,.
If so
Next time I will drink water
On my honor I will..
Just get me out of this heat,
I called my dog thinking he
Would be of some assistance
“I said doggie come help me
Boy”
But as you know,
He just wagged his tail
Took a sniff and walked
On by..
I thought I seen a smile on
His face
So simmer, simmer and
Simmer some more..
I felt like I bake in that
Oven until I dried out..
Temperature of 400 degrees
Now I declare I look like a
Roasted chicken,
Grilled to perfection
All over one bad, flat tasting
Diet coke....
