He swept past sleep-hazy mountains
Hurrying to her doe-eyed sleep
Her mystique spelt sweet subtle quiet
Pristine breath on silent nights
Pulling strings in his captive mind
He reached her side to guard her tight
Him, her angel, losing his guardian soul
To her, earth’s lovely orphan princess
He sang her silent heaven ballads
Into her mind’s midnight thoughts
To wake her up on dewy mornings
Searching for elusive love so deep...
