Dear Precious

Topic: BirthdayPoems

Gentle, like a new born butterfly
Softly, like a Summer's ocean breeze
Reaching out with a warmth so light
Your tiny hand touches mine.

Me little bundle of joy,
Though you feel so far away
You're standing here so close
Holding me with all thats dear to you.

Your love for me is as rewarding
As a dawn setting on a bright new day
Our time together not spend well
Feel me love for you
Deep within your young heart.

Two years it already has been
When we have been as close
A Mother and Daughter can be in life
The treasure you have given me
I hope to give for long life to come.

You are becoming a little girl now
With bright eyes and a smile so charming
Curly hair flowing when you're wandering
The wonders of life around you.

May God give you what you deserve
Not only on this day but on many days,
Months, Years and Decades to come
Thats me wish for you Dear Precious.

~*~
Happy Birthday Sweetheart....

Beautifully sweet and written from the heart.
I hope she will read this when she is old enough to understand the sentiments contained within it.
Good work nats.......you should be proud of it and her
