My AMERICAN FLAG
Each time I see you
The same feelings
Rise up again
And again
The flutters inside my soul
That make me think of what
You stand for
Heritage, Sacrifice
Freedom, Pride, Honor
A sense of calm knowing
You will always fly
Where those who believe in
You will always
Look at you and say
God Bless You
My American Flag

A brave, no-nonsense write. I agree. Patriotism is not a dirty word. And history shouldn't be allowed to fade away, or what is memory for?

Very stirring. Your patriotic feelings come through very clearly. |
