Computer Woes

Well its all hooked up,or I hope it is
This is all so new to me
It says right here to push this button
To turn on my PC

This cant be right, whats that sound?
It sounds like a fan to me
Did I just install Central Air
Instead of a PC

Oh here we go,the screen lights up
It says Windows 98
But this is the year 2003
Lord this is so out of date

The manual says to take the Mouse
And click where it says START
I dont see anything that looks like that
Do I have all the parts?

Now I have it figured out
This Mouse is not a Pest
Its this little thing that slides along
Atop my cluttered desk

I clicked START,a window popped up
Saying Settings,Help and Find
The last one will be handy
To help me find my mind

Whats all this on the screen
Pictures with funny names
So many things to remember
I know I'll go Insane

With nervouse hand,I take the pointer
And click to go online
I use one eye to take a look
Not sure of what I'll find

Oh good Lord what have I done
Windows pop up everywhere
I close one out, another pops up
Appearing out of thin-air

My son walks in,He's 8 years old
And sees I'm a nervouse wreck
He takes the mouse from my clinched hand
And says"Let me take care of that"

Click,Click,Click and the windows are gone
Back into the thin air
I look into his face
He's smiling from ear to ear

My hands stop shaking,my heart slows down
My eyes un-cross and I can see
My 8 year old dont know it yet
But he just got a NEW PC

Well, that is a very cute poem. I'm sure many PC users have felt the same way.
