They came like thieves, and took me away,
Within my soul, I wanted to stay,
They ripped me away, not a chance did I hold,
I felt the sharp pain, and then I felt cold.
I wanted to live, but they took my life,
They may have well used a gun or a knife.
My life has no meaning, don’t I have a say?
A life has been taken, will anyone pay.
Because of their rights, is murder then just,
For whatever reason, for whatever lust.
They may own themselves, but they don’t own me,
I want to grow up, I want to be free.
For all the babies we’ve killed each year,
I pray someone will shed a tear.
Please help my cause, and don’t turn away,
Abortion is wrong, please stop it today.
I am now gone, no chance to live.
For the life of another, please help to give.
