Fight for justice, fight for truth,
Fight for age, fight for youth,
Fight for tomorrow, but fight today,
It seems you’ll be fighting your life away.
A chain around your neck as a form of ID,
To them you’re a number, but you mean something to me.
Eternal soldier, as young as the rose,
As old as the heavens, or the wind that blows,
You were a child once, it’s there, in your eyes,
But hidden by time, and weary old lines,
Some things you have seen would have defeated the soul;
But still you march onwards, ever-nearing your goal;
The fight for justice, the fight for truth,
The fight for age, which shall cost your youth.
