How are the stars held up in the sky?
And why does the sun forever set and then rise?
What makes the bright glow of the moons’ beam?
Why do we perceive everything just as it seems?
Maybe we’re just better off not knowing
Perhaps confined answers aren’t worth showing
The beauties of magic are miraculous works
Is it in ourselves is where remedy lurks?
I am bewildered by how things happen like they do
Is it all part of a plan, do we prevail and pull through?
I guess I’ll just have to wait and see
To understand why something is not, or meant to be
They say magic acts in mysterious ways
But I guess it’s up to the believer of what to exclaim
I’ll keep my hopes high and aim for the best
And God can decide how to handle the rest
If we never ask questions, where would we be told to look?
The solution isn’t always found in guidelines or books
Or possibly the veracity are in the queries we ask
As if it were hiding behind some kind of mask
We’re probably searching in all the wrong places
Could it be the expressions we create on our faces?
Here’s and idea, perhaps we contain too much of a little thing called lust
Or maybe just maybe, we should let the captivating certainty find us.
