The Haunting

Contributed by secretwind on Tuesday, 13th June 2006 @ 12:16:09 AM in AEST
Topic: MiscPoems

Shadows
are scary
eerie sensations got me buggin'
I'm hearing things
but
I see nothin'.....
Footsteps echo
I start to tremble
voices are whispering
something is
tap tappin at he window.

In the reflection of the lightning
I see something frightening
I'm so scared
I can not move
I can only moan
and as the room goes dark
I shake and shiver
as I see red eyes glow.

Well done, you must be the type of person that likes to tell ghost stories around the camp fire. LOL

I love ghostly tales, must put my version on here sometime. I am very impressed by your words. You show the fear to me. Sue x

Captivating in short rabbit punches of mysterious thought lines permitting brevity to bellow "red eyes glow". Another enjoyment in my day! Tip o' m' hat compliments to ya.

There's a certain vagueness to this that makes it even that more appealing. I like the way you left the topic open, and didn't feel the need to expand on the subject...You gave the reader just enough, and left the rest up to their minds...Nice!
