The story of one
Had just begun
The earth in infancy
The one god’s plan
It did not stand
Now we pay the penalty
In our creation
Envy conceived abomination
Heaven heavy with jealousy
We did not know
What fallen angles had in store
Satan eager to settle the score
He set loose his army
Azâzêl taught us war
How to become whores
To prize vanity
Through our lust
We did so trust
and we still want to know more

Humanity is not perfect as you so elegantly stated, but it is
the best thing we have going, *smile* |
