My Special Someone

Contributed by jerseysue on Monday, 12th June 2006 @ 05:50:59 PM in AEST
Topic: FamilyPoems

There is someone in my life,
Whom I truly love,
Someone who makes my life complete,
An angel from above.

With chestnut coloured hair,
Laughing eyes of greyish blue,
Pale skin and golden freckles.
A beauty through and through,

Very small in stature,
Quite sensitive,but bold,
What beats inside that chest,
Is a heart of purest gold,

Your affectionate and caring,
And have witnessed grief and pain,
But it has never made you bitter,
And you bounced right back again,

For this person is special,
Whom I love more than any,
She's the light of my life,
My loving child,my Jennie

Ya hit a home run here li'l sister British buddy! This told me the soul of your little girl,

"Your affectionate and caring,
And have witnessed grief and pain,
But it has never made you bitter,
And you bounced right back again,"

and then there's the part about how it flows and jus' drips with a mother's love

Fantastic poem, tribute and showin' off o' love!
