Each minute vibration she detects,
Is answered only by a look.
She is not ready, but has lured me as I remain
Static.
Awaiting her reply.
I don't think I can run,
Not sure that I want to.
If I escaped...I would be lured again.
So this is my fate.
At least I take solace in that she needs me.
At some damn point.
The alternative would be freedom, yes.
But a freedom from being needed I have had enough of.
I'll wait. It will be better in the end.
For both of us.
