Three Interlocked Rings - the Holy Trinity

Contributed by Elizabeth_Dandy on Sunday, 11th June 2006 @ 10:41:13 AM in AEST
Topic: spiritual

Sing songs of praise, bring offerings
To the three interlockëd rings;
High symbol, emblem, specimen
Of God Triune, yet only One.
Before stands veiled the seraphs’ host,
Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.!
Ineffable In majesty!
Ineffable the mystery!

God Triune in a symbol clad
For man to adore and venerate,
But boundless Love can never bear
To stand alone, it wants to share,
Its limitless full treasure trove
From which springs every form of love.
Ineffable the majesty
Ineffable the mystery!

Unfathomable wellspring He
The only One,- behold in Three,
Oh Triangle of Majesty !
High symbol of Divinity,
Our being's source,- One God Triune,-
We offer our humble tune.,
Ineffable your majesty !
Ineffable Divinity !

Elizabeth~

This was beautiful. It flowed just like a hymn. I especially liked-

"But boundless Love can never bear
To stand alone, it wants to share,
Its limitless full treasure trove
From which springs every form of love"

Yeah, those are wonderful lines and so true the sentiment.

Excellent post!!

Merci qu Elizabeth pour ce dessin-modele de chef d'oeuvre le plus beau est si beau, Je t'aime tellement et je suis si heureux de relire votre merveilleux ecrit…. Raquel Lea

There is no God but one.....1Cor. 8.4

Genesis 1.26 ..... Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground."

One God. Notice the plural pronouns ...us and our.... in the scripture.

Lovely Elizabeth!! Another three- like the three Simons- unity for all- past present and future- pure love is in this unity. Is it purely coincedence that many paths have similar symbols?
Someone once said "coincendence is God's way of staying anonymous* I think perhaps it is the way the Light shows itself to us all. Noone stands alone.
Peace and Light!!! Sara
