I may come over so confident,
With these words that I write here,
But outwardly I am sensitive,
And very insecure I fear,
Lonely and afraid sometimes,
Of the future deemed for me,
Locked inside my little world,
Is how it seems to be,
Words have been my saviour,
Poetry my guiding light,
Something to work on,
On my many sleepless nights,
Grief and sadness haunts me,
What ifs they are the key,
For they still hold me back,
From the person I want to be,
So I will endeavour to fight on,
For the freedom from the pain,
So I will continue to write the words,
That will bring Me back again,
So this is the real me,
Skeletons and all,
You have made me so welcome ,
Thank you to you all,
So this poem is not my first,
And it won't be my last,
I just sit here and write,
In my castle made of glass.

This is a well done piece of "where ya been, where yer at 'n' where yer goin' poetry. It flowed with a confidence that "following your bliss" brings to one's life when they're determined to seek and gain happiness. Be happy, BB, 'cause ya bring pleasure and happiness to us here at YPDC with your wonderful writes. And gives one material fer that "poem".
