Falling Stars

Contributed by xlguesswho14xx on Saturday, 8th February 2003 @ 02:40:00 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

The stars have fallen from overhead
LIke the breaking of porcelain, glass flies everywhere
And light is now imperceptible from our limited view
Since darkness has now become our only dim light
Desperately lost, I confusedly roam about
Endlessly looking for a sign of hope or a feeling of happiness
Through the fallen pieces of debris and rubble
Of all those once bright stars that luminated the overhead dome
Everything has gone dark and black

thank you for your comments. When I first wrote these poems, I had no idea if I was doing it right or not. I know this sounds kind of lame, but what you said means alot to me.

Great write, about how things, when they go horribly wrong, can leave us in ruins. Bravo.
