The light follows you where ever you go,
I love you more than you'll ever know;
You make me happy when I'm sad,
Your the best friend I've ever had;
You never judge me,
A friend is all you see;
You are the sunshine on a cloudy day,
The love that melts the tears away;
Through all the tough times life can bring,
I wouldn't trade you for anything;

I love dogs and I love your poem. I feel the same way about mine. Having gone through some tough times myself, I remember what a comfort my old dog was to me. Nice write.
