Wasted life, you wilt away, years passing by
Your chances missed
No iron grip of mom and dad
Hate towards the man, you used to kiss
So long ago, so far away
Obsessed with making that b***ard pay
The one thing created by the two of you
Becomes your chess piece as you ruin him too
A mindless pawn, so innocent
Berate him for your sins
You can’t repent
Your life goes on, you have some more
Babies and scars, you can’t ignore
The game goes on, children can’t defend
Themselves from abuse, that makes childhood end
Humiliation, angry screams
The deafening sound of silence
As you failed to reach your dreams
Many years have come and gone
You lost the game, you’ve lost your pawns
Too much regret, an empty house
You blame your kids, you blame “that louse”
You blame yourself, for all the wrong reasons
Ignoring broken promises, empty lies and high treason
You’ve sewn your seeds, you’ve cast your stone
Gun in your mouth…you die alone
