She walks through the garden
Rosebuds adorn her hair
Laughing gaily
She is so happy there
A sparkling fountain
With bench of gold
In the center
Where her dreams unfold
A place of escape
From the horrors of life
No violence here
No daily pain and strife
He cannot enter her refuge
He cannot violate her peace
Here in her garden
She dances with ease
Time ceases when she walks
Through the flowers
Her heart free as can be
To her only rests the power
One day he will end her
Taking away her breath
But he won’t stop the dream
With her death
She will go to her garden
Through eternity
And she will dance on
So very happily

An outstanding poem which touches the heart. Your beautiful poetry always tells a story. In ones dreams anything is possible, but sadly even dreams end and we are back to facing reality again. I'm a dreamer always have been and always will be.
