Paper Brown Bag

Contributed by KeruriChan on Tuesday, 6th June 2006 @ 05:38:22 PM in AEST
Topic: FriendshipPoetry

I remember back when,
We had our inside jokes.
Such as the paper brown bag.
But we only see each other,
Now and then.

And now we seem like strangers,
Hiding from all the world's dangers.
Sometimes depressed, sometimes ludicrous, sometimes happy and sometimes in fear,
Of the prejudice.

I'm not stupid,
I know when something's wrong.
Afterall, you were my best friend for a few years.
A few years that were oh-so long.
Now, I have no control,
Of how well I know you.
And how often I see you.
And how well, you know me.

It's not easy,
And it makes me queesy.
Especially when I know that a lot has gone down the drain.
But atleast, I still have my silly brain.
Although, we had our fights and our stupid moments,
We still pulled through and helped each other in the process.

But now, it feels as if,
It was all a memory.
That can never be opened up,
Unless we changed again.
But things will never be like that had been.
