Grief

I stared at your face as if I knew
What would happen
As you dragged me up there
In the eastern sun
Morning dew on the scottish Grass
Seagulls scream the weekend news
And worms try to catch some rays
And your eyes' glint are brighter
We stand on the cliff
Grey sea sings
Deep bass tones in the breeze
The rocks seem distubred
Felt the rocks slide beneath you
Then your heart failed
Only wish that I could
Save you from the sea
From the rocks no forgivness
From your eyes no deceit
Feel the dew in the morning
As i ache

Interesting poem. Not sure if it was more symbolic or of a literal sense. But either way it's saddening. But good. |
