The darkness is closing in around me,
I greet it like an old friend;
I let it wrap around me,
engulfing my body like fire:
Happiness is drained,
the sadness is seeping in;
I'm lonely and shallow,
tired and week;
I'm sliping away,
sliping, sliping, and now I'm gone.
