Your Little Boy
I may look different from all of the rest
But Mommy I know you love me the best
Your perfect but imperfect little boy
Who brought mixed pain with a whole bunch of joy
I know you will answer whenever I call
Dust off my knees, when I stumble and fall
The kids make fun, poke me, call names
With me you always play games
You have faith in all that I do
To me you are so perfect so true
You decided right from the start
You would love me with all of your heart
Hanging up pictures for the whole world to see
That show that you aren’t ashamed of me
And momma some day I will make you proud
Lets hold each other and cry out loud
People may laugh, sheer and make fun
But you are my earth, moon and my sun
So look past the face and all of the wrong
Listen to me as I sing a sweet song
My momma she loves me and gave me a life
She looked past it all head strong with the strife
You are the best that any could ask
But you with much courage tackled the task
My name is Logan and down syndrome have I
But perfect am I in my momma’s true eyes
