i rocked you all nite

you felt it despite

the fact that you're married

for years i've carried

this crush on you, but you parried

me away

and i guess you did obey

your heart

and if you did, the fact that we're apart

shows me that we have to start

using AT&T

so we can flee

into a fantasy

where your'e constantly handing me

your friendship or your love

either way i'll be your dove

you can always rely on

if i continue to try on

will you finally see my plan

and let me be your man

i'm sort of like Peter Pan

in a jar

with your slices of bread

we could talk in your car

and use the jelly between us to go as far

as we want to

like "13 Ghosts" i'd haunt you

but like a diamond i'd flaunt you

to every guy in town

while your wearing an elegant evening gown

like "Pretty Woman" we've found

a mutual understanding

love,
