Around the corner, I saw death,
He came up behind me and said in a deep slow breath:
A body, in your mind, will slowly begin to combine the pain of heat ache and the vision of not being sane.
I closed my eyes, looking into the back of my mind, empty shelves, all different kinds, but what I saw, was slaying my eyes.
I saw a broken body, Slain, tortured, and abused.
It made me turn, and fall to the ground, it appeared under my eyes,
And I saw, it was mine.
Suffering in agony, my body could not speak; all I did was read my eyes:
The pain, one of this kind, I was afraid, weak and in an emotional pain.
The blood I shed over memories and loved ones who have died,
I never let this pain speak,
But now, emotionally dead,
I think in deep thought and worry as I lay half dead in bed.
A horrid and worried emotion, takes a toll on my body scars that once closed are her to open once more.
Sometimes at night, I lay awake and hear a voice,
It calls for me and seems oh so very sweet.
It makes me feel alive and happy again
Like dancing on a rainbow,
With a smile laughing in my eyes,
Forgetting the present, I fall in love.
