Etched in her mind

Contributed by merge on Friday, 7th February 2003 @ 11:20:00 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

While echos stir
Beneath this Haarlem Princess
Let she not run such thoughts
Through her mind
For her fancy echos in another place
Or rather with another soul.

Within the echos of her mind
She imagines a warm embrace
Of a foreign love affair
Even she could not imagine more perfect
And while she imagine such an embrace
She is not preoccupied with
Touch or senstaion
Only drawn in by his enchanting eyes
And forever lost
Within his charming smile
The smile that tugs at everyheart string
Within her core.

A smile that she prays
She will never forget
This smile brings her tormenting world
To a half
And even for a moment
Reigns peace on her kingdom.

A smile that she will carry with her
Beyond this passing moment
If only she could keep it etched in her mind
Canvas nor photo could do justice
She only craves
That time keep this sweet memory
Etched in her mind.
