Anchor Part 2

Topic: Lifepoems

The moon's light is reflected off the shimmering ocean
it's beauty can be seen for miles
as his ship sways in the calmness of the storm.
The anchor begins to ascend back to it's rightful place
48 hours have passed, and no more questions are roaming in his head.
Only the joy of the upcoming journey.
The time has come to face his destiny
and to show his love for her.
Forgetting the things of his past,
or at least to only try,
that is his goal and his dream.
With one last look back
he raises his sails,
to continue along his journey.
No more questions,
no more fears,
and no more worries
for the Light will guide his ship to the shores.
"I can do all things, for He will strengthen me!"
those words cross his mind
and he shouts them to the creatures of the deep
and to the things that held him back.
No more pain,
no more heartache,
no more worries,
and no more fear.
For he will make it to the end of his journey
and nothing can stand in his way.
